The Sommer Twist XL Dual swing gate motor is suited for heavy or large swing gates which require extra power. The German made motor can handle swing gates in higher wind areas compared to other swing gate motors.

This Kit includes:

2 x Sommer Twist XL Swing Motors with mounting brackets

1 x Sommer XXL Control Panel with 1.5Amp Power Supply for Accessories

2 x Sommer 2 button Remote Controls

A maximum opening angle of 110 degrees is achieved through precision mounting geometry calibration. The Sommer Twist XL accommodates residential rising hinge swing gates with optional bracket configurations, enabling versatile installation approaches. The 24V DC architecture supports multiple power delivery methods: mains connection via the integrated control panel, external power supplies, or off-grid solar integration.

Our 160W solar kit provides autonomous operation in remote locations without grid mains, utilising photovoltaic charging to maintain consistent battery performance. This technical flexibility ensures deployment across diverse site conditions and infrastructure constraints including residential and industrial applications. A ground stop is recommended in open & close positions.
